Wonsan-class Minelayer Ship: Sole ship of the class - MLS-560 ROKS Wonsan

Wonsan-class minelayer (Hangul/Hanja/Romanization:원산급 기뢰부설함/元山級機雷敷設艦/Wonsan-geup Giroe Buseol-ham) is a one-ship class of minelayers currently in service on the Republic of Korea Navy. The namesake of the class is bestowed from the City of Wonsan, a principal city which is located at Gangwon Province in the present-day North Korea (DPRK). It is previously located at Southern Hamgyeong Province before September 1946.

The Republic of Korea Navy planned to commission three Wonsan class mine layers. However, due to budget problems in 1997 Asian Financial Crisis, only one was commissioned - which is known as MLS-560 ROKS Wonsan.
